Medical and Biological  Physics. Lectures

Photobiology is a science branch studying the interaction between electro-magnetic radiation of optical range and biological systems.

In this lecture , we consider the main physical mechanisms responsible for transport of different substances through a cell's membrane.

This lecture covers a wide spectrum of topics starting from generation of ionizing radiation, its interaction with matter, its use in therapy and diagnostics, and radiation protection and safety. Here is a clip of my presentation.

NMR effect is exploit in MRI scanners. We consider the physical principles of the image formation, image acquisition and interpretation in this lecture.

In this lecture, we consider the interaction of entire spectrum of electromagnetic radiation with biological matter and the bio-effects it produces .

This lecture explains the formation of the action potential in cells.  We consider the physical processes in a cell and its membrane.
